Questions frequently raised in minds..
Won’t this create more burden on the child?
There is no extra burden on the child during the training, but the fact is that the brain gets developed and hence the regular studies also become easier. In fact Abacus is not an regular curriculum, but it is a brain development course. World over, students are undergoing Abacus mental arithmetic training without any burden and get knowledge combined with fun and play.
Like other training programs, Abacus also has books and syllabus but the whole course is easy and burden less. A child will start taking interest in themselves which is the primary motive of any Abacus Brain Gymnasium.
At the start, the child is taught how to use an Abacus – a beaded instrument used for the purpose of calculation. Later on, the child is not dependent on the Abacus to do the calculations.
Few facts:
- An ideal tool for children to identify text and numbers and handle simple Arithmetic Calculations.
- Enriches their brain power by starting it in their early years.
- Imparts high moral values to kids stories and colorfully illustrated texts.
- Uses a specially seven rod multicolored abacus for early use.
- Creates a natural liking for arithmetic in kids
- Kindles creatives thinking and ability to use the left and right side of brain.
- By using the abacus (or the manual calculator) as a tool, the brainpower is harnessed.
- The Human brain has two halves: the right and the left
- The left-brain is linear and logical. The right brain is intuitive.
- When confronted with problems, the left-brain being logical, reasons out how intense will be the problem and allowing that to prevail on the mind, will make a person give up his goal.
- The way the right brain interprets the goal is different. It is not logical but creative and thinks about new methods to reach the goal.
- The right brain is able to "VISUALIZE" the final scene of goal achievement and will not rest till newer methods of reaching the goal are found.
